Education Program |
| |
KENCA offers the education program to nurture experts
under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
KENCA established the FIDIC-KAIST-KENCA Training Center jointly
in 2003 and opened education courses that these three organizations
jointly approve, which will cultivate technical manpower of the
advance level to have engineering expertise and overseas marketing
abilities. In particular, members will be assisted by the government
and the Association, 50% and 20% of the tuition, respectively.
In addition, KENCA offers on-line education programs by means
of an engineering cyber education system for its members who are
not able to take courses at the center due to time and place restrictions.

Overseas Training Program |
| |
KENCA provides an overseas training program four
to five times a year for its members so as to help them to raise
their engineering performance ability, exchange technical information
and establish manpower network. The participants are assisted
with half of airfares and registration fees. And the Association
introduces the overseas courses to its members by written reports. |

Engineering Education Service |
| |
There are also guest speaker programs two to three
times per year on the latest international trend of engineering
technology, where speakers are invited from abroad, and engineers
from home and abroad exchange information and get to know local
engineering market. Interactive discussions about international
topics are offered through a series of seminars and workshops. |

Translation and Publication of International Contract Materials |
| |
KENCA translates engineering-related international
contract materials published by FIDIC, ADB, etc., and provides
them free-of-charge to its members, thus facilitating market access
of its members to overseas markets. In addition, other books and
publications of the Association are distributed to its members
without any charge. |
| |
Overseas Market Survey |
| |
KENCA dispatches its market survey delegation to
foreign countries to which local businesses may advance to conduct
surveys on the related laws and regulations, system and market
size of those countries in order to provide its members with the
results of the surveys. The Association is making efforts to help
its members to make their strategies of market access to the mid
and south Asian countries of great market potentials. |

Introduction of Members in Connection with Received Orders |

The Association is pursuing the wholesome development
of engineering industry by introducing and advertising the members
which received many orders by expert fields and by publishing
information about companies which have made unfair or undue transactions. |

Laws and regulations interpretation services
(e.g. the Engineering Technology Promotion Act, the Construction
Technology Management Act) |

The Association seeks the interests of its members
by supporting its members with the interpretation of the laws
and regulations and promoting the integration of concerned laws
and regulations in order to make the legal and systematic device
suitable for globalization. |

Association with International Organizations |
| |
The Association contributes to the advancement and
globalization of technology through agreements and contracts with
technologically advanced countries. |
