urbanization, private enterprise property management, environment-friendly
development, standardization, IT industry, and partnership. |

FIDIC is representing 70 member countries
as a confederation to improve its services and to protect the
interests of its members.
FIDIC was founded 90 years ago in 1913, has 70 members and 25,000
member companies and 750,000 employees, providing services of
100,000,000,000 dollars on the basis of all its members, spend
yearly about one trillion dollars for construction and projects,
and additionally 50,000,000,000 dollars yearly including underdeveloped
countries.
Furthermore, it is making efforts to the consultant development
such as making investments in technology and finance to counterattack
any risk, and performing transparent management, environment-friendly
development and quality-cost bidding system(QCBS). |

As for the activity of FIDC in far east
Asia, it is operating a training center with Cheonghwa University
in Beijing, has published a guide to construction quality in association
with Japan Engineering Association, making cooperation with Korea
Engineering & Consulting Association for transparent management,
and has opened FIDIC-KAIST-KENCA Training Program. |
